Bars and Nightlife

Sevillians famousy keep late hours and after dark the city certainly doesn't sleep! Visitors are often surprised to see very young children running around the streets at midnight. The small area around the Alfalfa is replete with bars and families. Further north, between Plaza de la Encarnación and Plaza de Los Terceros there is a good mix of traditional bars and restaurants packed with residents. On Calle Gerona you'll find the oldest bar in Seville, El Rinconcillo, dating from 1670, its a great place to experience a traditional Sevillan bar both in atmosphere, decoration, food and drink.
