Location of apartment Macarena

Macarena is a district full of local activity and colour, located in the northern part of the historic centre of Seville. Partially enclosed by a section of Seville's ancient city wall, Macarena overflows with character stemming from its working-class history.

There is the wonderful fresh food market on Feria Street, as well as several bakeries, grocery stores, tapas bars and restaurants all nearby. The vibrant Alameda de Hercules is a recently renovated tree-lined square, popular with families during the day and with those who enjoy night-life after dark. The Alameda has many cafes, modern terrace bars and clubs which stay open late into the night.

Heading north you'll find the Macarena gate, within a long stretch of the original city defensive walls, and the Basilica of the Macarena, home of one of Seville's most venerated religious images of the Virgin Mary.

"Go for this you won't regret it!!!!!"

Review for a stay in Sep 2012 - Anonymous, London (UK)

My husband and I stayed at the Feria Terrace apartment for 5 nights and it was perfect! The apartment is in a great location, away from all the hustle and bustle of the tourist area yet within a short walk to the center (25min walk to the Cathedral). There is plenty to do, see and take in within the area and the neighborhood has it's own special charm. Having our own private balcony made a big difference, it is big and welcoming and was great fun to hang out in. The flat was clean, the bed was comfortable and we had everything we needed. Furthermore the staff at Feria were really helpful, and welcoming which made the whole experience a great pleasure. This includes the reservation process prior to the arrival and during the stay itself. We will definitely go back and recommend the place to our friends.

"Lovely modern appartment on an old traditional street in a very atmospheric part of Seville."

Excellent - good appartment, excellent location and good customer service, with helpful and friendly staff and the bonus of free and easy to access WiFi and internet access. Only improvement would perhaps be the addition of softener in the towel washes, as the towels were quite rough, but only a very minor point in what was a lovely stay. Comment from the owner: Thanks for this great review! Regarding the towels: I have advised the cleaner NOT to use softener, for two reasons: 1. The water absorption without softener is better. 2. I don't like to have rests of chemical agents in the wash. Both are my personal preferences... it's my German education ;)

"Lovely apartment in a great location for sightseeing without being in 'touristville'"

Review for a stay in May 2012 - Jenny, LONDON (UK)

This little apartment is absolutely great and I'd stay there again without hesitation. Modern and clean with everything you need for a stay in a city centre. The location is perfect - in the heart of a little neighbourhood with locals going about their everyday business; everyone was really friendly and there were plenty of bars, restaurants and shops nearby. It took just 20mins to walk to the Catheadral and other tourist spots and it's even on a useful bus route if you need it. The terrace was brilliant and perfect for mid-afternoon siestas!
