This charming duplex apartment is characterised by contemporary and retro furnishings and artwork which blend with the original architectural features to create a stylish and comfortable space. With exposed brick walls, traditional floor tiles, antique doors and high ceilings up to 3.97 metres - providing a great sense of space.
The entrance to the apartment is through a private patio decorated with a table, chairs, fountain and plants. The patio is an ideal place to have breakfast or to eat some tapas, particularly during the hot summer months. There is an extendable canopy on the roof to give shade.
At the back of the patio, we come to a pleasant living-dining area, where you can breathe tranquility, freshness and quietness. There is a corner sofa, coffee table, armchair and TV. Dining table with 4 chairs. The kitchen is fully equipped with all main utensils and appliances, oven and dishwasher included. There is a laundry room in the shared terrace with 2 washing machines.
On the upper level are the 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The master bedroom has a Queen size double bed (160x200cm), wardrobe and an en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower. The second bedroom has two single beds (90x200cm) and a wardrobe. Both rooms are calm and quiet to sleep, with windows facing the central patio.
Next to bedroom 2 is the second bathroom, also with a walk-in shower.
Other features: air-conditioning, heating, underfloor heating, ceiling fans and a safe. High speed fiber optic internet connection is included.
The apartment building is made up of 3 holiday flats which share 2 terraces. The lower terrace is equipped and decorated with plants, parasol and lounge sofas. The upper terrace invites you to sunbathe and enjoy the exceptional rooftop views, including the Cathedral. With deckchairs, parasol, plants and an outdoor shower.
Note: There is a laundry room in the terrace with 2 washing machines shared between guests lodged at the Rodrigo Triana apartments.
Der Stadtteil Triana liegt auf der linken Flusseite und gehört nicht direkt zur Altstadt Sevillas, da er sich ausserhalb der Stadtmauern befindet. Allerdings wird das heute nicht so genau genommen. Denn alle emblematischen Sehenswürdigkeiten der Altstadt, wie Torre del Oro und Stierkampfarena liegen sehr nahe.
Die einstmals einzige Verbindung zwischen Triana und Sevilla war die Puente Isabel II, auch Trianabrücke genannt. Diese Brücke wurde in ihrer heutigen Form im Jahr 1845 von französischen Ingenieuren unter Einfluss von Gustav Eiffel erstellt.
Im einstigen Viertel der Fischer und Hafenarbeiter, kann man echte andalusische Kultur hautnah erleben. Die berühmten Werkstätten und Töpfereien Sevillas haben hier ihren Sitz, und Triana ist eine der Wiegen des Flamenco.
Entlang dem wundervollen Flussufer verläuft die Betis Straße, von der aus man bei Tag und bei Nacht einen fabelhaften Blick auf die Altstadt hat und die für ihr Nachtleben berühmt ist: Hier sind einige der besten Restaurants, Bars und Diskotheken zu finden.
Direkt an der Triana Brücke befinden sich die 150 Jahre alten Markthallen von Triana - erbaut auf den Ruinen des Sankt Georg Burg, einsitiger Sitz der heiligen Inquisition.

Family of 3 stayed 4 nights and fully enjoyed the apartment. Entire apartment is built up from the ground floor patio with lovely original doors and windows all around. On cooler days, one can get good air circulating and no problem leaving the windows open, even at night, as the area is incredibly quiet. Kitchen is just big enough and beds are comfortable. But the patio is the true icing on this layer cake. We must be lucky as it appeared no one else was staying in the other unit and we had the entire balcony to ourselves. Views of the cathedral and a few other monuments, lit at night, was a dream.

Triana is a great location, away from the busy city centre but near enough to walk in easily. It's full of character and we enjoyed trying out Magdalena's recommendations, especially pastries from Manu Jara, breakfast at Casa Cuesta and tapas at Paloma Blanca. The apartment itself was spotlessly clean, well equipped and comfortable. The wow factor is the two terraces, perfect for chilling out on after sight seeing. All the staff from Veoapartment were so helpful and friendly during the booking process and our stay. We'd love to return and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this lovely apartment.

The apartment was as described. The location was ideal, lots going on within walking distance. Markus was great in getting us set up on the day of arrival and the apartment was clean and well appointed. We had a great time and would definitely recommend. One big highlight was watching the New Year fireworks in Seville from the roof top terrace

You really get what you see in the description and pictures: the apartment is perfect. Even though the la ion is in the middle of Triana, a very lively borough with a a lot of bars and restaurants, you don’t hear a sound - only birds! It is very roomy, artsy and the small patio is the perfect spot for breakfast. The rooftop terraces, yes two, are the place to get a yoga session in, to have a nice afternoon/evening drink or to sunbathe while taking in the Sevilla.

The house is superb and the location excellent, smack in the middle of Triana.The duplex is stylishly furnished and the roof terrasse is to die for. The lady ( owner of the house) who lives on the top floor takes good care of the place and the people at VEO were responsive when trouble arose: provided the missing microwave oven and did their best when a power outage in the house left us with no heating, no electricity and no hot water in the heart of Sevillian winter ( we stayed a week in January 2020).Overall very pleased with the stay.
