Location of apartment Malaver I

Location of apartment Macarena

Macarena is a district full of local activity and colour, located in the northern part of the historic centre of Seville. Partially enclosed by a section of Seville’s ancient city wall, Macarena overflows with character stemming from its working-class history.

There is the wonderful fresh food market on Feria Street, as well as several bakeries, grocery stores, tapas bars and restaurants all nearby. The vibrant Alameda de Hércules is a recently renovated tree-lined square, popular with families during the day and with those who enjoy night-life after dark. The Alameda has many cafés, modern terrace bars and clubs which stay open late into the night.

Heading north you'll find the Macarena gate, within a long stretch of the original city defensive walls, and the Basilica of the Macarena, home of one of Seville's most venerated religious images of the Virgin Mary.

"Saubere, nette, aber dunkle Wohnung"

Review for a stay in Jun 2014 - Anonymous, Nals (Italien)

Das Appartment ist gut gelegen und relativ zentrumsnah. Die interne Terrasse ist nett, aber durch den Kanaldeckel stinkt es.

"Lovely Place"

Review for a stay in Nov 2013 - Tonya, Colorado Springs (United States)

We stayed two nights in this lovely apartment. It is a great location, decorated beautifully, and is a wonderful place to land in Seville. Cafes and bus stop are conveniently located near by and the gracious owner has helpful maps with notations of grocery stores, restaurants, etc. Highly recommend.

"Very nice apartment in a less touristy part of Seville but within walking distance of the centre."

Review for a stay in Sep 2013 - Christine, Walsall (England)

Enjoyed our stay here. Lovely helpful greeting from Rosa (?). Explained everything clearly. Only negative was the unstable Wifi but, since I hadn't been expecting Wifi, can't really moan about that!
Everything we needed. Nice and quiet and cool. Would recommend.

"Fantastic apartment in the best part of town"

Review for a stay in Sep 2012 - Emma, London (UK)

The apartment was great for our week away. A really welcoming & relaxing place to come back to after long days sightseeing. Very quiet at night yet only moments from all the nightlife of Alameida de Hercules. The apartment has all the essentials you need plus a very comfy bed & sofa. We loved the location. A short walk to the main sites but in a neighbourhood that felt more like you were part of day to day sevilliano life.

"Excellent accommodation in great location"

Review for a stay in Jun 2012 - James, London (UK)

Spacious flat in great location slightly away from the tourist crowds with everything you could need. Surprisingly cool inside with ideal courtyard outdoor space - we didnt use the air-conditioning and it was 41C outside!

"Great location and value"

Review for a stay in May 2012 - John, Collingwood (Australia)

We were very pleased with the actual size of the apartment with a private courtyard (great for breakfast) It was much bigger than expected and more than enough for just two people. Well equipped and in very good, clean condition. The location was the real winner as it is only a couple of minutes walk from a local covered market on Feria. Fresh fruit, vegetables, fish and meat so close there was every reason to "eat at home" which we did.... But with dozens of cafes, bars and restaurants within a ten minute walk and hundreds within 20 minutes walk it was easy to sample a fantastic range of tapas. The local family hangout is the Pillars of Hercules.... six minutes walk from the apartment. In spite of all the nearby attractions the apartment was quiet and sleep not a problem.
The manager Rosa Maria was so helpful we could not have asked for more !

"Beautifully decorated and central."

Review for a stay in Mar 2012 - Ian, Edinburgh (UK)

A bright spacious and comfortable apartment nicely situated in central Seville. The welcome pack of a bottle of the local wine and some olives was a nice touch. A toaster would have been appreciated.
