Located in the historic centre, in a small square of high AlbaicĂn, with panoramic views over Granada's rooftops. Other partial views include: Sacromonte district (east), Alhambra palace (south) and Sierra Nevada mountains (southeast). Suitable for up to 6 people.
The interiors are modern and bright. Neutral colors, stone and parquet flooring, original artwork and contemporary design furniture contrast with the rustic effect of the terrace garden - creating a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere.
On the lower floor, all main rooms are orientated towards the exterior patio. The living room opens to the garden and pool, which looks like an extension of the house. Furnished with 2 sofas, coffee table, desk table and chairs. TV, hi-fi and a large collection of books on architecture and interior design.
Adjacent to the living area, with independent access, is the dining room with table and chairs. The kitchen is fully equipped with all main utensils and high-quality appliances. With oven, washing machine, dishwasher, fridge and freezer.
Under the staircase there is a small working desk and a toilet.
On the upper floor are the 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Bedroom 1 has a double bed (1.60 x 2.00m), fitted wardrobes and a large window with views of Granada. En-suite bathroom with a bathtub and a separate shower. Bedroom 2 also has a double bed (1.35 x 1.90m) and bedroom 3 features two single beds (0.90 x 2.00m).
The second bathroom is next to bedrooms 2 and 3. With shower, washbasin and WC.
The terrace is furnished with a table, chairs, deck chairs, plants and fruit trees. There are three main outdoor spaces. 1- patio with a pergola covered with fig tree leaves, which give shade in summer and sun in winter; 2- small garden with grass, plants and a pomegranate tree; 3- pool (length 3.80m, width 1.80m, depth 1.60m.). Pool available from April 01st - October 31st (unheated).
There is private garage parking available on request for small/medium-sized vehicles (see conditions).
The Albaicín is a colourful and charming traditional neighbourhood set in the very heart of Granada. Made up of a network of winding streets and small squares rising up on a hill facing the Alhambra, the area is bordered by the Darro River and by the commercial centre of the city.
Once the site of the Moorish citadel, the Alcazaba, the area still retains a sense of its past in its architecture - many of the churches were built on the foundations of mosques. Today, parts of the Albaicín have taken on a distinctly North African feel with many tearooms and small shops selling Morroccan goods.
Wander through the streets and you'll find wonderful views, a wide variety of restaurants and many terrace bars - where you get a free tapa with your drink as is the custom in Granada. For the best view in town, head for the lively Mirador de San Nicolás where you can contemplate the whole of the Alhambra with the peaks of Sierra Nevada as a backdrop. As the poet said, "Give him charity, girl, as there is nothing worse in life than being blind in Granada"!

Stayed for a week at Estrella Terrace and it was a enchanting house. Rosario is so welcoming, and the house has every amenity that you could want. The house is spacious, beautifully furnished and the garden was our favorite place to gather. Plenty of space for 5 adults. The Albazin is a great neighborhood, and the house has a view of the Alhambra. But it is very hilly and walking can be difficult. Also, all of the bedrooms are on the second floor. Mentioning this for anyone who has trouble getting around. This house was the high point of our stay.

Idéalement situé, cette villa a répondu à toutes nos attentes. Décorée avec goût et sobriété. Tout le nécessaire à un séjour de qualité était présent. Très propre, bien équipé, grand confort. Une piscine, certes petite, mais appréciable avec les chaleurs que nous avons connues. Un figuier pour l'ombre de la terrasse, un hamac pour les siestes en extérieur, des lits confortables, des sanitaires très propres et spacieux. Tout le nécessaire pour cuisiner et se faire plaisir. From September 9th to 12th 2016, we had the chance to stay at the Estrella Terrace : the house is well located and very nice, the owner is also very gentle and welcoming. We enjoyed the terrace under the quince tree, we really enjoyed full of details in the house that witness how carefully it was arranged (master bedroom is wonderful). To this regard the kitchen also is outstanding as we find everything very easily ; we also appreciated the basic ingredients available such as salt, oil, some coffee .. we just immediately felt home !
PS: within 5 min walk there is the Plaza Larga where we had an excellent dinner time :)

Rosario is an exceptional host - warm, welcoming & extremely helpful. The house is very comfortable & has everything you could ever need. It's a steep 15 minute climb from the main shopping/restaurant area but worth it for the views & the peaceful neighbourhood.
