Klimaanlage
Schönes Einfamilienhaus mit zwei Terrassen mit herrlicher Aussicht über den Guadalquivier Fluss. In calle Betis, im bekannten Triana Stadviertel von Sevilla. Von den Schlafzimmerfenstern und der Terrasse hat man einen Blick auf die wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten Sevillas: Triana-Brücke, Stierkampfarena, Torre del Oro und die Giralda, dem Glockenturm der Kathedrale.
Die grosse Wohnung hat 190 m² und ist über 3 Stockwerke verteilt. 3 Schlafzimmer und 3 Badezimmer für bis zu 8 Gäste.
Bei der Renovierung des Hauses wurde versucht, die alte Bausubstanz bestmöglich zu erhalten und mit modernen Elementen zu ergänzen. So wurden z.B. die Holzbalkendecken mit einer neuen tragenden Decke direkt darüber ergänzt. Für die Küche im hinteren Teil des Ergeschosses wurde eine Solarbeleuchtung ("Light Tube") installiert, welche über ein gespiegeltes Rohr das Licht von der Terrasse nach unten reflektiert.
Erdgeschoss: Im vorderen Teil befindet sich der Esstisch. Ein grosses halbrundes Fenster bietet Aussicht auf den Fluss und zur Stierkampfarena. Im hinteren Teil befindet sich eine Sitzecke und die Küche. Die Küche ist mit Backofen, Geschirrspüler, Waschmaschine und Wäschetrockner sehr gut ausgestattet. Neben der Treppe eine Gästetoilette.
Erster Stock: Schlafzimmer Nr. 1 mit Doppelbett, Kleiderschrank und privatem Bad. Schlafzimmer Nr. 2 mit zwei Betten (eines der Betten auf einer erhöhten Plattform mit Leiter, s. Foto). Ein zweites Badezimmer mit Zugang vom Flur. Beide Schlafzimmer mit herrlichem Blick über den Guadalquivir Fluss.
Zweiter Stock: Schlafzimmer Nr. 3 mit zwei Betten und Kleiderschrank. Im vorderen Teil befindet sich eine zweite Küche und eine grosse Glasschiebetür zur Terrasse. Eine zweite Glasschiebetür von der oberen Küche zur Terrasse ermöglicht kurze Wege und trägt wesentlich zur komfortablen Nutzung der Terrasse bei (s. Grundriss).
Der zweite Stock ist eine von den unteren Stockwerken unabhängige Wohnung. Mit Zugang wahlweise über eine separate Treppe, als auch vom ersten Stock.
Der untere Bereich der Terrasse, im zweiten Stock, ist mit Gartenmöbeln und Markise ausgestattet. Von hier hat man einen herrlichen Blick über den Fluss.
Dritter Stock: Über eine Eisentreppe gelangt man zum oberen Teil der Terrasse, welcher mit einem Tischfussballspiel und 4 Liegestühlen ausgestattet ist.
Weitere Ausstattungsmerkmale: kostenloses WLAN-Internet, Klimaanlage, offener Kamin. Ein Fernseher befindet sich in den Schlafzimmern Nr. 1 und Nr. 3, aber nicht im Wohnzimmer.

Der Stadtteil Triana liegt auf der linken Flusseite und gehört nicht direkt zur Altstadt Sevillas, da er sich ausserhalb der Stadtmauern befindet. Allerdings wird das heute nicht so genau genommen. Denn alle emblematischen Sehenswürdigkeiten der Altstadt, wie Torre del Oro und Stierkampfarena liegen sehr nahe.
Die einstmals einzige Verbindung zwischen Triana und Sevilla war die Puente Isabel II, auch Trianabrücke genannt. Diese Brücke wurde in ihrer heutigen Form im Jahr 1845 von französischen Ingenieuren unter Einfluss von Gustav Eiffel erstellt.
Im einstigen Viertel der Fischer und Hafenarbeiter, kann man echte andalusische Kultur hautnah erleben. Die berühmten Werkstätten und Töpfereien Sevillas haben hier ihren Sitz, und Triana ist eine der Wiegen des Flamenco.
Entlang dem wundervollen Flussufer verläuft die Betis Straße, von der aus man bei Tag und bei Nacht einen fabelhaften Blick auf die Altstadt hat und die für ihr Nachtleben berühmt ist: Hier sind einige der besten Restaurants, Bars und Diskotheken zu finden.
Direkt an der Triana Brücke befinden sich die 150 Jahre alten Markthallen von Triana - erbaut auf den Ruinen des Sankt Georg Burg, einsitiger Sitz der heiligen Inquisition.

Lovely space-doors, shutters and tile work seemed reflective of old Triana. Modern stove, washer & dryer made stay easier for our family of 4 adults & 2 young children. Highlights are third floor sunroom, and roof deck w amazing view of River & old Seville. A bit noisy on Saturday night. Walkable location to sites and markets. Hosts responded quickly to request for additional towels. We’d definitely stay here again.

A brilliant apartment let down by poor maintenance and attention to small details. Details that meant you didn’t need to take all dishes up and down 50 stairs to the one working dishwasher because there was no plug in either sink that worked. Details that meant the upstairs bedroom was cold because the air conditioning didn’t work. Details like a bottle of dishwasher liquid that isn’t watered down and down. Details like well stocked kitchen utensils etc. Veoapartment need to do their job and pay attention to a high cost, valuable asset.

I have lived in Sevilla/Triana and visited numerous times. For views and location, this apartment can't be beat. All of our Sevillano friends wanted to visit to see the place and the views from the upper terraces. The bedrooms and bathrooms are wonderful. The only two issues for some are street noise on late weekend nights (which is part of the charm to us) and the split kitchens -- one on the third floor and one on the first floor. The first floor kitchen has little to no plate ware, cooking ware etc., so don't plan on cooking and eating inside.

Great location, easy access to all the sights and many restaurants, bars, churches, markets. River is right out the front door. Beautiful old apartment, many stairs, slight dark. Bull fighting arena is directly across the river.

The apartment was spacious and charming. The location is lively (especially the day of the Scotland-Spain qualifying football match) and walkable to many sites, restaurants, and shops. The view of the river and city from the upstairs room was excellent. The hosts were responsive and helpful. An all-around good experience.

World class views of a beautiful city from the terraces. Great location of the house in a vibrant area. Management company was very responsive and went the extra mile. The owner maybe needs to think about revamping/redecoration as some bits rather tired, but the views made up for it.

We loved our stay at Casa Betis, with its magnificent outlook and location. We loved watching the river at all times of the day and night, and the outlook was really magical. The house suited our party, with the three bathrooms for the three sleeping areas. Hosts helpful and responsive to our feedback on a couple of items that needed attention. All in all, a great stay.

Love the decor, the location and the view of the bull fighting ring. Next to a flamenco show, which we went to and enjoyed, restaurants and bars, all in walking distance. Enjoyed.

We are a family of 4 and we absolutely loved our stay at Casa Betis! It is full of historic charm, super clean, has beautiful views of the water from the bedrooms and balconies and the location is perfect—it is centrally located and was close to everything we wanted to see! We walked everywhere we wanted to go and never had to look hard for great cafés—they are all around. We appreciated the warm welcome we received upon arrival and we are so grateful to Joao for his help in reconnecting us with a bag we left behind. We hope to return to Casa Betis again soon. Thank you for a truly unique and memorable stay!

.... it had not been cleaned properly when I arrived with two friends on a Saturday. The air conditioning and the main lights on the third floor were not working either. However, every cloud has a silver lining and I WAS impressed by the reactiveness of the Veoapartment team who sent a cleaning lady on the day after my arrival (a Sunday!) and soon sorted out the lighting and airconditioning issues. On further inspection I noticed that a lot of areas had not been cleaned thoroughly and were covered in dust. However, this too was soon remedied by the arrival of a cleaning lady. I also appreciated the fact that the two threadbare and dirty rugs on the third floor were replaced by new ones. But should the old ones have been there in the first place? I would like to add that I think these problems were due to questions of internal organization. Casa Betis is quite a large property and should not be rented out the day after the departure of other clients. Several hours of thorough cleaning are necessary before somebody else steps in. However, the house itself was wonderful. My area on the third floor with its large table and wonderful views was perfect for writing. In fact, I would like to return next year!

A wonderful Christmas spent at Casa Betis! The house is so beautiful, and the location was perfect… the view from the terrace was spellbinding especially as the sun went down and the lights twinkled! Triana is a very interesting area with great bars and restaurants, and it was lovely to be just a few steps away from the fabulous Triana market by the bridge… Didn’t want to leave and can’t wait to return!!

We loved the apartment so much we stayed an extra week! Excellent location with lots of great spaces in the home and great wi-fi. We were both working and sight seeing and it was a fantastic place for both! The decor and design is fantastic with exposed brick, interesting antique doors and beautifully tiled bathrooms. The view from the upstairs dining table was amazing! Would highly recommend.

Having used Veoapartment several times over the years they have surpassed my expectations again and again. Most recently with understanding and kindness following a Covid infection issue and previously (2 years ago) when our original trip was cancelled due to International flight/entry bans we enacted. Have stayed in four of their Seville apartments and all were most enjoyable. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone planning a trip to Spain.

Abweichend von den Bildern wurde auf der Terrasse eine Überdachung gebaut, die so groß ist, dass sie fast alles überschattet. Im Sommer sehr sinnvoll. Wir wollten dort allerdings im November Sonnenbaden um dem schlechten Wetter in Deutschland zu entkommen. Daher im Winter nicht empfehlenswert. Ansonsten ein sehr schönes Haus, sehr traditionell mit wunderbaren Türen und verziertem Glas. 2 Holz-Feuerstätten sorgen für gemütliche Wärme und Veo hat es sogar geschafft, dass noch Holz geliefert wurde bevor wir eintrafen. Alle Klimaanlagen wurden auf Heizen gestellt und funktionierten. Veoapartment: Dear Hans-Jürgen. Thank you very much for your feedback. We installed the pergola recently to make the terrace more comfortable. Seville is sunny and hot most part of the year and there is a second terrace on the roof where you can sunbath. The flat was very comfortable with most facilities available. There were three maintenance issues only: (a) bottom floor sink had no plug (b) door handle on bottom toilet was broken and (c) slight smell of drains in the top floor flat. Other than that, the facilities provided were excellent. The location was excellent, with most things within walking distance and plenty of bars and restaurants close by. The river ran by just in front which gave the place a very open appeal. Loved the upstairs landing for relaxing in the evening. Thanks for reporting those minor damages in the flat that will be corrected inmediatly. L'apéro sur le muret de la terrasse avec le soleil couchant sur la Tore del Oro, la Giralda et les Arènes de la Real Maestranza juste de l'autre coté du Guadalquivir. c'etait top!

We liked the house overall it was well furnished and decorated but would not recommend it for more than 5 people. The double bed in the loft would not be viable if you have mobility issues or small children. Veoapartment's reply: Dear Phil, Thanks for choosing Betis Terrace. I hope you enjoy it. Betis Terrace is an XVIII century house (1760), we have tried to preserve the old elements at most. Among them is the bunk bed. It is the original way the bedroom was concieved. Everything was straightforward, the house was great, any issues we had were promptly resolved by the property managers. We had a wonderful stay and the view on the river was beautiful. The only drawback was the amount of noise from the street during the night (mostly all night, to 5:00 or 6:00 am, particularly Thursdays to Sundays). There was no loud thumping music. Only happy laughter and even flamenco music and clapping every now and then. That said, we had ear plugs and that helped. We appreciate it is a city and some noise is to be expected. Veoapartment's reply: Thank you for your comments and also for staying in Betis Terrace. Undoubtedly Betis street is a busy street, which is also part of its charm! We have equipped all windows with a double-glass and rubber the frames, reducing substantially the level of occasional noise.

Veoapartment was very helpful and courteous. Responded quickly to emails, and guided us through the leasing process. They met us at the apt. on the appointed time. The apt. is indeed very stylish and comfortable, and the owners have put a lot of money and effort into it. It's "old world" meets modern style and comfort. The place has been renovated completely with comfortable furniture, well stocked kitchen and modern bathrooms. The location is perfect if you don't mind walking a little, across the river from all major attractions with amazing views at night. It was simply the best apt we have rented in Europe. Three things worth mentioning but don't retract from the positive opinion we had: 1) there was a funky smell in the kitchen on the top floor one of the nights we were there, even though we did not use the kitchen. We kept the windows open and the door closed, so it did not bother us greatly. 2) the third bedroom has two twin beds, one a bunk bed you have to climb up to. This is worth considering if you are an adult and esp. if you are a couple. It would be fun for a child, but sleeping in a bunk bed is not fun if you are a middle aged man. It would be perfect for a family with kids. 3) the internet signal is spotty. There were some mysterious blind spots, sometimes just feet from a strong signal. For example, you can't get a signal if laying on the bed on the third floor but if you move to the couch ten feet away, you are ok. Overall, I would highly recommend this apt and the services of Veoapartment. Let me address some or the other comments and also the measurements taken to improve Betis Terrace based on them. 1) In the upper kitchen there was indeed a poor isolation of the dishwasher discharge pipe, possible cause of the smell. This has been corrected through proper isolation. 2) I agree that the bunk bed (which is extremely comfortable once you get there!) is more suited for kids or young people. Nevertheless, Betis Terrace offers two double and three single beds in addition to the more “exotic” bunk bed. 3) Betis Terrace is a XVII and XVII century building that has thick stone & brick-built walls and ceilings. WIFI waves occasionally get some difficulties to get through them since some of them are over two feet wide! We are setting WIFI signal repeaters to overcome these, intrinsic to the building, difficulties.

Les plus: Maison très stylée, décorée avec gout. Très bien située. Confortable. Les moins: quelques odeurs d'égout parfois, surement dues à la proximité du Guadalquivir. L'odeur d'égoût n'était que temporaire, due à un traitement des canalisations dans la zone. Nous avons également installé un système de clapets à l'intérieur des conduits dans l'appartement.
