The apartment building is made up of 6 holiday flats which overlook a large sunny square. Within the square is the Altamira Palace which dates from the 15th century and was inspired in its later construction by the Alcázar Royal Palace.

Santa Cruz quarter is one of the most charming and colourful neighbourhoods of Seville, bordered by the Cathedral and the arab walls of the Alcázar Palace - Royal residence and stunning example of mudejar architecture.
With its labyrinth of narrow alleys, winding streets and pocket-sized squares, this picturesque neighbourhood transports us back to the time of its historical origins as the Jewish quarter of the city. In spring you will be delighted by the sweet smell of orange blossom in the air.
Find a wide variety of tapas bars, outdoor restaurants and souvenir shops, as you walk among lime-washed houses adorned with their traditional flower-filled balconies, and peer into the hidden courtyards which shade you from the hot Andalucian summer sun.

We found the apartment in very good order with all we needed (although a kettle would have been useful for a cup of tea!). The roof terrace was lovely and must be wonderful when the weather is good. Breakfast at the Alamira was good. The website was very easy to use.

Review for a stay in Apr 2012 - Anonymous, San Diego (USA)
Arrived on the last day of the Feria so prices were higher than normal. On arrival at the restaurant to pick up keys, we were met by the manager who seemed disinterested (which I thought was the norm for Spanish waiters) and annoyed that I did not speak Spanish. The following morning when using the shower we ran out of hot water despite turning the water heater to maximum. I went to the restaurant to ask for them to fix the problem, the manager was rude, impatient, and acted like I was an idiot for even questioning him. Finally one of the cooks who spoke great English came out of the kitchen and calmed things down (and she seem annoyed at HIM for not trying better to help me out). Other than the problems with the manager, the apartment was great - clean, roomy, and good location. The stairs can be annoying for older travelers or kids. Definitely get the fresh-squeezed orange juice at breakfast. On the day of check-out, the manager seemed extremely nice, which I thought strange until I went to pay for the room and was met by the owner of the restaurant/apartment who had not been there the past few days. He was warm and welcoming but I just wish I had dealt with him instead of the stupid manager.
